My first ever published image came courtesy of pro surfer Paige Hareb and New Zealand Surfing Magazine. Long story short, she found the image on my Instagram and asked if she could use it for an article the magazine was doing on her. Of course I said yes!! (Credited as Stingray Photo Imaging when that was my photography brand)

After seeing this image on my Instagram, I received an email from someone in Compass Airlines’ marketing department about using this images for social media use. After some negotiating (they don’t pay for images for social media…boo), I agreed to let them use this. At the time it had the most likes on their page. I’m still waiting for my swag. :/
